"What the world needs now is love, sweet love
It's the only thing that there's just too little of.
What the world needs now is love, sweet love
No, not just for some, but for everyone."
-Burt Bacharach
The spirit of giving is a powerful and selfless expression of love toward those in need that can bring joy and happiness to both the giver and the receiver. It is an exchange of love that can transform lives, even if only for a brief moment. When people engage in acts of love and kindness, they help others and experience personal growth and a sense of fulfillment.
Have you ever given something without expecting anything in return to someone who needed help? Do you remember how you felt afterward? Many people experience a sense of satisfaction or deep inner happiness and love during those moments.
Giving personally impacts the giver, enriching their life with a sense of purpose and connection. Engaging in acts of generosity requires intentionality, ensuring that these actions are meaningful and have a positive impact. Through giving, individuals can reach their full potential and experience a sense of purpose and fulfillment, eventually evolving into responsible and compassionate adults.
True success comes from the spirit of giving, where the joy of helping others leads to a fulfilling life and a happy human being.

"Giving is love in action and love is the common thread that runs through every human being. The true spirit of giving is the true nature of human beings. Love."
While walking down the street, I saw a homeless woman sitting against a building wall.
She looked disheveled with soiled clothes and two large plastic bags by her side.
She was crying, but I continued walking, unaware or unconcern of what was happening around me.
As I walked halfway down the block, an inner voice urged me to turn back and ask the woman what was wrong.
I did and approached her. She told me she was experiencing painful cramps from her period and did not have money to buy sanitary napkins.
I looked around and spotted a nearby CVS store. I told her that I would be right back.
I went inside the store and purchased a few items. Then, I went to a nearby restaurant and bought some soup.
When I returned, I gave her the items and placed some money in a tin can next to her.
With tears still rolling down her face, she blessed me and smiled.
This situation deeply affected me, revealing how a simple act of kindness can profoundly impact someone's life.
As I walked away from the woman I had just seen, I couldn't help but wonder what it would be like if I were in her shoes, living on the streets.
Maybe it was fate that led her to where she was, or perhaps she made some wrong choices in life; regardless, the cause of her situation didn't matter. She was a woman, just like me, and the thought of her pain and discomfort stayed with me.
On my way home, I realized I only had one fare left on my metro card and no money.
I had spent all my money on the items I bought for the needy woman. But I didn't feel bad about it. I knew that the woman needed it more than I did. So, I reassured myself and headed home.
When I arrived home and began to extract my keys and wallet from my handbag, a surprise awaited me.
I discovered a neatly folded twenty-dollar bill tucked away at the bottom of the bag.
The ways of GOD are truly mysterious. I had given everything I had; in return, GOD blessed me with this unexpected gift.
She received from me, and I received from God.
At first, I felt guilt for ignoring the woman. Given the widespread of con artists in the city trying to scam people, I consciously chose to ignore my surroundings entirely.
However, I needed a lesson in charity and spirituality, which I received through this personal experience—something I like to call "Spiritual Offering 101," taught by my spirit teachers.
Life is full of lessons.
It can be challenging to distinguish between those who genuinely need help and those attempting to deceive others.
Nevertheless, the solution is simple: support those in need and have faith that any fraudsters will face consequences in due time.
By helping others, you're not losing anything. In fact, you'll gain a lot more than you may realize.
We all can be charitable and make a positive difference in the world.
Let's unite, support each other, and bring love and joy.
You never know when you may be the one in need of help.
"God, our Father who is all Power and Goodness, give strength to those who are going through their trials.
"Give light to those who are seeking truth.
"Put compassion and charity in the hearts of all people.
"God, give the traveler the guiding star; the afflicted consolation; the sick rest.
"Father, give the guilty repentance; the spirit truth; the child a guide; the orphan a father.
"Lord, may Your goodness extend over all that You created.
"Mercy on those who don't know You; Hope for those who suffer.
"May Your goodness allow the consoling spirits to spread everywhere peace, hope and faith.
"God, a ray, a spark of your love can set the earth ablaze.
"Let us drink in the fountain of this fertile and infinite goodness, and all the tears will be dried and all the pains will be soothed.
"One single heart, one single thought will rise up to You, like a cry of recognition and of love.
"Like Moses on the mountain, we await You with open arms.
"Oh Power, oh Goodness, oh Beauty, oh Perfection, and we want, in some way, to deserve Your infinite mercy!
"God, give us the strength to help our progress that in the end we may rise up to You.
"Give us pure Charity, give us Faith and Reason.
"Give us the simplicity that will make our souls the mirror where Your image must be reflected.
"Amen."
1- "When you give a luncheon or a dinner, do not invite your friends or your brothers or your relatives or rich neighbors, in case they may invite you in return, and you would be repaid.
"But when you give a banquet, invite the needy, the crippled, the lame, and the blind.
"And you will be blessed, because they cannot repay you, for you will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous."
2- "There was a rich man who was dressed in purple and fine linen and who feasted sumptuously every day.
"And at his gate lay a poor man named Lazarus, covered with sores, who longed to satisfy his hunger with what fell from the rich man’s table; even the dogs would come and lick his sores.
"The poor man died and was carried away by the angels to be with Abraham.
"The rich man also died and was buried."
Luke 14:12 -14 /Luke 16:19-25
3- "What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them?
"Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to them, 'Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,' but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it?
"In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead."
"Set your heart on doing good. Do it over and over again, and you will be filled with joy."
"The prime purpose in this life is to help others and if you can’t help them, at least don’t hurt them."
“Your greatness is not what you have, but in what you give.”
“There is no happiness in having or in getting, but only in giving.”
“In this world it's not what we take up, but what we give up, that makes us rich."
Winston Churchill said, "You make a living by what you get; you make a life by what you give."
We are all linked together. We are all children of GOD.
Never think you are superior, and others are inferior. We all have our up and down moments.
Jesus was asked which commandment was the greatest or most important.
He answered, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.
"This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it:
"You shall love your neighbor as yourself.
"On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets” (Matthew 22:37-40)
During these difficult and uncertain times, showing compassion and support for one another is important.
We should remember that we are all children of God and part of the same family.
to those in need brings joy not only to the recipient but also to the giver.
