Prayers For Those In Need
God, our Father who is all Power and Goodness, give strength to those who are going through their trials.
Give light to those who are seeking truth.
Put compassion and charity in the hearts of all people.
God, give the traveler the guiding star; the afflicted consolation; the sick rest.
Father, give the guilty repentance; the spirit truth; the child a guide; the orphan a father.
Lord, may Your goodness extend over all that You created.
Mercy, Lord, on those who don't know You;
Hope for those who suffer.
May Your goodness allow the consoling spirits to spread everywhere peace, hope and faith.
God, a ray, a spark of your love can set the earth ablaze.
Let us drink in the fountain of this fertile and infinite goodness, and all the tears will be dried and all the pains will be soothed.
One single heart, one single thought will rise up to You, like a cry of recognition and of love.
Like Moses on the mountain, we await You with open arms, Oh Power, oh Goodness, oh Beauty, oh Perfection, and we want, in some way, to deserve Your infinite mercy!
God, give us the strength to help our progress that in the end we may rise up to You.
Give us pure Charity, give us Faith and Reason.
Give us the simplicity that will make our souls the mirror where Your image must be reflected.
God is the Captain of my soul.
He is my guide; my beacon; my everything.
He leads me in the right path.
He is my savior.
He helps me to overcome all obstacles.
Whenever I find myself in darkness and despair, He takes me to a place of much light and peace.
As I sail down dark and unpredictable waters, I fear not for He is the Captain of my ship
As I sit here and ponder on all of my life events, a tear rolls down my face.
I look up to the heavens and humbly pray to God.
God, please tell me what have I done to deserve this.
Have I not served, loved and followed your commandments?
What is it that I have done to merit this huge burden upon my shoulders?
I know you are just, and there are no bad deeds, from this lifetime or past, that goes unpunished.
Although I am not aware of the why, I know that as a good loving father you are helping me to cleanse my soul.
I ask you not to take away my burden, if l have not completed the task or lesson, but to give me the strength to go on.
Be my companion throughout my journey and lift me up went l fall.
In your hands I place my body and soul.
May your Divine will be done now and always.
SPIRITUAL HEALING PRAYERS
Although my enemies conspire against me, I know no harm will touch me for He is always by my side protecting me.
He blesses me with His divine holy oil.
His love, protection, blessings and spiritual light will follow me wherever I go.
And, He shall live in my heart forever and ever. (Inspired by Psalm 23)
Come to me, all whose work is hard, whose load is heavy; and I will give you relief.
Bend your necks to my yoke, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble-hearted; and your souls will find relief.
For my yoke is good to bear, my load is light.
(Matthew 11- 28,29,30)
Dear Lord, may I have a few minutes of your time?
I know that I am just a grain of sand in a vast desert and, perhaps, undeserving of your attention. However, I am in need of your guidance. I have exhausted all of my options.
I understand that lately you and your Father have been extremely preoccupied with the present state of humanity.
Instead of moving towards enlightenment, we are backsliding into a world of darkness. Forgive us for our transgressions.
Perhaps, it is selfish of me to ask for a few minutes of your time, but I truly need your help.
For many years, I have been carrying my cross with resignation. On many occasions, I have stumbled along the way.
However, I have gotten up quickly, dusted the dirt off, picked up my cross, and moved on.
At times, my cross has felt heavy. Yet, I have always had the strength to endure without complaints.
Recently, the weight of my cross has been bearing down on my worn-out body. I can no longer bounce up and proceed. I remain anchored to the ground.
Although I have attempted to lift my body, the weight of my cross is overpowering.
A few times, I have had visitors. Instead of assisting me in getting up, they mocked me.
They have called me simple-minded, irrational and ridiculous.
“Why continue to carry a cross, when you can free yourself and live a life of leisure? Put your cross aside and follow us,” they exclaimed.
I fought temptation bravely. And, after a long and agonizing encounter, they vanished.
However, here I am alone and without the strength to move on. Or, a word of comfort or support.
My only companion is my cross- a cross that continues to grow heavier while my body gets weaker.
I want to carry my cross to the end, but I don’t know how, or if I can. I feel defeated and helpless.
How did you do it? You carried your cross to the end. A cross that symbolized the sins of humanity.
Although you were in severe agony, you continued to carry your cross without complaining.
Instead of being comforted, you gave solace to those around you.
“And a great multitude of the people followed Him, and women who also mourned and lamented Him. But Jesus, turning to them, said, Daughters of Jerusalem, do not weep for Me, but weep for yourselves and for your children” (Luke 23).
Jesus, please give me some of your steadfastness, courage, and strength.
I am not asking you to carry my cross. I just want you to assist me to get up again so that I can carry my cross to the end.
Oh Jesus, lift these agonizing chains from my tired body. Help me to be strong and overcome all adversities that come my way.
Our Father, Who art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done,
on earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. Amen.
Hail, Mary, full of grace,
the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou amongst women
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death.
My Lord, Thank You, Thank You. Thank You.
For I was sick and you healed me.
For I was hungry and you fed me.
For I was thirsty and you gave me water.
For I was lost and you showed me the way.
For I was depressed and you comforted me.
For I was in darkness and you brought light into my life.
For I was alone and you became my companion.
For I was unloved and you loved me.
For I was weak and you showed me my inner strength.
For I was fearful and you showed me how to be courageous.
I have learned that everything begins and ends with God.
I am not alone for God is always by my side.
Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
Benevolent and thoughtful spirits, messengers of the Almighty, loving sentinels charged with the mission of helping us grow in wisdom and love, we ask that you give us your support as we face each day’s decisions.
Help us, oh loving guides, have the fortitude of character to resist harmful thoughts and to resist the temptation to listen to the voices of evil entities who would induce us in err.
Illuminate our thoughts and help us recognize our defects.
Remove the veil of ignorance from our eyes so we may recognize our faults.
To you, ________, who we in particular acknowledge as our guide, and to all the other good spirits who take an interest in our well-being, we pray that we may be worthy of your consideration.
You know our needs; we therefore ask that you help us improve our lives as we become closer to God.
To you, oh messengers of God, who bring forth goodness and joy, help us resist the temptations evil spirits provide.
Give us some of your light so we may not succumb to the false shine of the evil entities.
Help us not yield to false pride and strengthen our resolve to maintain ourselves clean of hatred, jealousy and malevolence.
Let Divine Love rule our senses so no evil may enter our hearts.
"May all beings everywhere plagued with sufferings of body and mind quickly be freed from their illnesses.

"If I have harmed anyone in any way either knowingly or unknowingly through my own confusions, I ask their forgiveness.
If anyone has harmed me in any way either knowingly or unknowingly through their own confusions, I forgive them.
And if there is a situation I am not yet ready to forgive, I forgive myself for that.
For all the ways that I harm myself, negate, doubt, belittle myself, judge or be unkind to myself through my own confusions, I forgive myself."
"Almighty God, please allow any enlightened spirits, who may be seeking my company, to communicate their messages to me.
"I hope and pray that false pride will not interfere with the message that through my body these illuminated beings will bring.
"Give me the gift of humility so that I may accept with love any advice given by the good spirits.
"If at any time, I should abuse or become proud of the gift that you have given me, I implore you to take it away from me before I deviate from the objective for which it was intended.
"For it would be better for a medium to lose his ability to channel than to use it for destructive purposes."
"Infinitely Good God; let your name be called blessed for the goods you have given me; it would be undignified of me to attribute such graces to chance or to my own efforts.
To you, good spirits, who have served as instruments of God’s will, in particular to you, my guardian angel, I thank you with all of my heart.
Keep away from me the thought of being proud and any other thought not conducive to goodness. I want to thank you in particular for………"
"My soul is about to meet for an instance with the other spirits.
"May the good ones come to help me with their counsel.
"Guardian Angel, may I upon awakening preserve from that event a healthy and lasting impression.
"Permit my spirit, oh God, to meet with my loved ones who have departed, and may I receive from them spiritual fortitude and good advice."
"In the name of God, I implore his messengers to help me in removing all negative energy from me.
"Spirit(s) who derives sick pleasure from tormenting me, hear me, for I speak in the name of God.
"If you wish to reflect on what you are doing, know that you are destined to fail, for evil can never triumph over good, and you can never be stronger than God's chosen spirits.
"In the name of God, I free myself from your energy and pray to God that you will enter God's light.
"May the light of God bath my mind, body and spirit.
"May He show me the way to a healthier way of life."
“Lord, make me an instrument of your peace.

"O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console,
"To be understood as to understand,
"To be loved as to love.
"For it is giving that we receive.
"It is in pardoning that we are pardoned.
"It is in dying to self that we are born to eternal life. "Amen.”
I pray to Yemaya in the name of God, seeking her assistance during these challenging times.
As the Mother Goddess, I ask that she help us to remain strong and united, and to eliminate any hatred and fear that may reside within us.
I humbly request that she guide us towards a better world, and cleanse our bodies, souls, homes, planet, and all living beings with her powerful water.
May her divine presence bring us peace and harmony.
"Kind and merciful God, may you extend your abundant mercy to include those who seek help from us.
"Oh good and merciful spirits charged by God to instruct us, pray with us for the souls of those who would benefit from our positive thoughts.
"Make us vessels of Divine providence; enable us to share with the spirits of those who need light whatever light may have been granted us by that Great Spirit, the Creator of All."

"St. Michael defend us in battle, be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him we humbly pray; and do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God, cast into hell Satan and all the evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls."
"Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless and the treasury of compassion — inexhaustible, look kindly upon us and increase Your mercy in us, that in difficult moments we might not despair nor become despondent, but with great confidence submit ourselves to Your holy will, which is Love and Mercy itself."

"If my request is inconsiderate, forgive me.
"If it just and convenient, according to the way You see things, may the good spirits who execute You wishes, come to my aid and help me to realize my request.
"However may Your will be done!

"Help me not to become disheartened and that neither my faith nor my resignation be shaken (speak your request). "
(The Gospel According to Spiritism)
The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
HE makes me to lie down in green pastures: HE leads me beside the still waters.
HE restores my soul: HE leads me in the paths of righteousness for HIS name's sake.
Even when I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for my LORD is with me; HIS rod and staff they comfort me.
HE prepares a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: and anoints my head with oil; my cup runs over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever
"Spirit of wisdom and understanding, enlighten our minds to perceive the mysteries of the universe in relation to eternity.
"Spirit of right judgment and courage, guide us and make us firm in our baptismal decision to follow Jesus' way of love.
"Spirit of knowledge and reverence, help us to see the lasting value of justice and mercy in our everyday dealings with one another.
"May we respect life as we work to solve problems of family and nation, economy and ecology.
"Spirit of God, spark our faith, hope and love into new action each day. Fill our lives with wonder and awe in your presence which penetrates all creation."
